Individual study on a one-to-one basis

Sometimes we desire to deepen our contemplative knowledge and practice beyond the level of group participation. Sometimes we get caught in personal crises and difficult life situations, when we would like our teacher to relate to us more personally and accurately than a group may allow. This can occur, for example, during periods of illness, depression, anxiety, anger, fear, loss of a loved one, a home or a job and in moral dilemmas. In these and related situations, individual study may be helpful.

Remote learning

You can now enjoy regular individual  and group study and practice sessions with Jonathan using Skype video calls worlwide. This options saves travel and enables visual contact with a teacher for deepening and internalizing your understanding of nondual wisdom and contemplative practice.

Beginners’ and advanced groups

In these groups, Jonathan Harrison lays and develops the basis for personal practice in nondual wisdom, including nondual meditation with supporting philosophical and psychological insights. The emphasis in these groups, as in all Jonathan Harrison’s teaching, is everyday practical application of insights gained.

Workshops

Jonathan conducts weekend workshops throughout the year to encourage deepening insight and sustained practice

“The main role of a nondual teacher is not to know. As the work progresses, the student knows less and less. Eventually the student also does not know. One of the things the student does not know is who the student is and who the teacher is. At this point the study is complete.”
